For those who know me both personally and professionally, it’s likely no surprise that I chose March 8th, International Women’s Day, as the founding day of Spirited Media. We are a female-owned creative communication collective, dedicated to assisting brands in forging deeper connections with their audiences.
Reflecting on why I embarked on this journey with Spirited Media, it’s clear to me that it was driven by a desire for genuine connection and purpose. I’ve always been drawn to people, seeking out voices that broaden my perspective. This innate affinity for others has enabled me to empathize and truly understand individuals, propelling me into this new chapter of my life.
By establishing Spirited Media, I opened the door to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share a vision. Spirited Media embodies my passion for bringing together diverse perspectives. Every facet of my work involves cultivating and nurturing relationships, whether it’s on behalf of our clients or within Spirited Media’s own community. Whether we’re facilitating partnerships between podcasts or influencers and brands, or introducing our clients to journalists, investors, and distributors, we often find ourselves playing the role of matchmaker or enthusiastic supporters.
Internally, as we expand and strengthen our team, it’s crucial to foster an environment that nurtures individual growth. The possibilities for this collective are boundless, and our team is eager to channel that energy into our second year.
Starting a company is not for the faint of heart. Building this community involves numerous challenges, but for me, it boils down to three fundamental elements: connection, purpose, and emotion. These three pillars are what set Spirited Media apart. We are committed to our clients for the long haul, celebrating their successes and embodying their brand ethos. We connect clients with a broader community while amplifying their purpose within the industry.
Ultimately, it’s about surrounding yourself with individuals who share a similar sense of purpose. My business partner and confidant, Sam Richards, shared this vision from the start, making her the perfect collaborator for this venture. As we mark our first year, we’re not looking back but eagerly anticipating what lies ahead.
